1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing or using ShortMaker (“App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“TOS”). If you don’t vibe with any part of this, please don’t use the App.

2. Changes to TOS
We might update these TOS from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the revised date above. It’s your call to review changes—continued use means you’re cool with the updates.

3. Your Account

• Use a valid email; don’t share or sell your account.

• If you suspect unauthorized access, holler at us and change your password pronto.

4. License & Access
ShortMaker grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App on devices you own. You promise not to pirate, reverse-engineer, or tamper with our code.

5. Content You Create

• You retain all rights to videos and media you upload or generate.

• By using our AI features, you grant ShortMaker a worldwide, royalty-free license to operate, display, and distribute the outputs to provide the service.

• Don’t upload anything you don’t own or that violates third-party rights.

6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the App to:

• Violate any law or infringe IP rights

• Infringe privacy or harass others

• Upload malware or spam

• Scrape, hack, or otherwise mess with our systems

7. AI Transparency & “AI info” Tag
Our App uses AI to generate and edit content. You’ll see the “AI info” badge on outputs to meet industry transparency standards—so your audience knows a bit of futuristic magic went into your vids.

8. Privacy
Your privacy is gold to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your data. By using ShortMaker, you agree to that policy.

9. Disclaimers

• THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

• WE DON’T GUARANTEE IT’S BUG-FREE OR THAT YOUR CONTENT WILL NEVER BE LOST.

• USE AT YOUR OWN RISK—YOU’RE SMART ENOUGH TO BACK UP YOUR STUFF.

10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TECHMAN STUDIOS LLC ISN’T LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES—INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR DATA—ARISING FROM YOUR USE (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP.

11. Indemnification
You’ll indemnify and hold Techman Studios LLC, its officers, and partners harmless from any claim, liability or expense (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these TOS or your misuse of the App.

12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access without notice if you breach these TOS. Sections 5–12 survive any termination.

13. Governing Law
These TOS are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
